Quick and Easy Gingerbread Houses

ages 3-6

Graham crackers, candies and frosting

Activity Detail

Using graham cracker squares for the walls and roof of a house makes this a yummy easy alternative to the standard gingerbread house. Use frosting to hold the graham crackers in place and gumdrops and M&M's to decorate.

Great alternative!

This activity has potential. It's not totally developed since it doesn't explain how to adhere the candy. Another alternative that worked well in my son's preschool class is using marshmallow fluff for "glue" instead of frosting. "Gluing" on cut-up string licorice is another fun way to decorate.
