Construction paper, tempera paint, string or thick yarn.

Activity Detail

Dip some yarn or thick string into tempera paint. Drag, swirl or twirl the string onto construction paper that has been folded in half. Use several different colors if desired. Open the construction paper back up and fold the paper back over to imprint the string art design and to see the beautiful symmetry.
