When you're out walking with your kids, make it more fun and even educational by playing 'Shape Spy.' Your kids may know their shapes from a book or puzzle, but can they identify them in everyday objects? When you pass a stop sign, tell them you 'shape spy' an octagon. When you see a bicycle, 'shape spy' circles (the wheels). Take turns with your kids and have them point out different shapes to you.
