Create Your Own Puzzle
ages 4-6
Supplies
Paper, scissors, cardboard, glue, crayons, markers, or paint
Activity Detail
Have your child draw or paint a picture. Once the picture is done, glue the picture onto a piece of cardboard and then cut it into 'puzzle' pieces. Your child will delight in seeing his or her work of art turned into a puzzle and will have a ton of fun putting it back together. Or, if you have two children, you can have them create puzzles for each other!

What a fun way to do a puzzle and also work on fine motor skills with the cutting, etc.

Would be great for an older child with a large, intricate drawing or piece of art.

These puzzles are also fun to mail to a friend -- your child might even get one in return!
