Creating Your Own Bookmarks
ages 3-6
Supplies
Card stock; crayons, markers, or paint; small leaves (optional); clear contact paper
Activity Detail
Make your own bookmarks using card stock. Cut a sheet of card stock into rectangles. Have your child color or paint them. You can also cut out shapes to glue to the bookmark or glue on small leaves. Then cover the bookmark with clear contact paper. The bookmarks make great gifts and also are great for kids who are starting to read chapter books.

You could also use stickers or rubber stamps to decorate!

This is a fun way for very small children to work on fine motor skills by using stickers. My kids love to make these and then send them to friends. We also punch a hole at the top and attach some yarn for a tassle.
