If you are like me, you cringe at the thought of all that sugary candy inside all those plastic Easter eggs being consumed by your child! Instead of filling your eggs with candy, get creative! Let your child help think of fun things to put in your eggs instead of candy. Here are some ideas -- For girls: a charm & piece of ribbon to make a bracelet or necklace, hair barrettes, a packet of wildflower seeds, organic lip balm. For Boys: bouncy balls, a matchbox car, removable tattoos. For anyone: money, lottery tickets, stickers. These things are more fun for your child to stuff into the eggs than candy, and they help to cut down on candy consumption!
