Dr. Seuss is one of our favorites, here at The Savvy Source. And he's given us a great way to begin a discussion about Earth Day with our children in his book The Lorax. After reading the book, talk about the story and air pollution. Talk about the importance of clean air even though it's not something we can see. Discuss the vital role of trees and plants, and how they turn carbon dioxide into the oxygen we need to breathe. Be sure to take time to enjoy the words, too.
