Tissue Paper Easter Eggs

Supplies

Construction paper or card stock, scissors, glue, tissue paper

Activity Detail

Cut an egg shape out of construction paper or card stock. Cut out small squares of different colored tissue paper, wad them up, and glue them onto the egg. Cover the whole egg, or create patterns of stripes, polka dots, etc. If you use card stock, you can glue small magnets onto the back and hang them on the refrigerator. In addition to eggs, you might also make chicks, ducks, flowers, etc. Let your child's imagination guide the project.
